I found our third peer review to be extremely helpful, partially because we were able to create our own framework or focus for the reviewer. This made it possible for us to choose areas we felt we would need the most feedback or help with, for our group this was clearness of claims and how effective the evidence we used to support it was.  Also, thanks to previous practice with peer reviews and the specificity of previous guidelines, the comments received were specific and rather detailed which was helpful. The cons of constructing our own peer reviews was that it is possible we overlooked important areas to consider because we focused on what we wanted. I feel like I am well prepared to do peer reviews in other courses. My review comments have evolved to be more specific thus helpful to the development of the paper. Also, I have a better grasp on what areas to focus on.
